Having problems using one of our plugins? Please follow this troubleshooting guide first!

Troubleshooting Guide

  1. Check that your Operating System supported
    • Currently only Windows 10 is officially supported! Mac releases coming in 2024.
  2. Ensure that your DAW (e.g. Ableton Live) supports VST3 plugins
    • Some DAWs only support other formats, such as VST2.
  3. Verify that your DAW is pointed towards the folder that contains the plugin
    • In your DAW settings, ensure that the correct folder is selected for plugins.
    • By default, Shadowbox is installed to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\ on Windows.
